Mother Teresa The Final Verdict

Mother Teresa The Final Verdict

This is not going to be politically correct to post this about Mother Teresa but we believe more people need to.

We have not posted this here to promote Mother Teresa, but rather to give a warning about some of the activities that researcher and writer of Mother Teresa The Final Verdict has documented.

Author Aroup Chatterjeebe, who is apparently a non-Christian and does not seem to have a bone to pick with religion, has uncovered some things that the world needs to know about.

Mr. Chatterjeebe, a native of Calcutta, has done the world a service by exposing some major problems with Mother Teresa's 'ministry' and 'orphanage' in Calcutta. The book tells the story as have BBC documentaries in the past and Christian discernment ministries. Before launching an attack against us for posting this, maybe purchase the book and read it. OR, you can read the mass of links on the internet about Mother Teresa's 'New Age - Syncretisitc - All Roads lead to God' teachings that can be found in her books.

From Meteor Books:

The following is a small excerpt from the Introduction to

Mother Teresa The Final Verdict by Aroup Chatterjee (also at Amazon.com)

Mr Chatterjee writes,

"...After two years of trying, when I failed to elicit any response from her or her order, I contacted her official biographers to ask whether they would answer some of the serious question marks hanging over her operations. All of them, bar one, replied, but only to turn me down. All of this happened while Mother Teresa was alive.

Many people tell me that Mother Teresa should be left alone because she did 'something' for the underprivileged. I do not deny that she did. However her reputation, which was to a good extent carefully built up by herself, was not on a 'something' scale. More importantly, that 'something', at least in Calcutta, was quite little, as my book will show. Even more importantly, she had turned away many many more than she had helped - although she had claimed throughout her life that she was doing everything for everybody. My brief against her is not that she did not address the root or causes of suffering and I am not for a moment suggesting that she ought to have done so, as I understand the particular religious tradition she came from - I am saying that there was a stupendous discrepancy between her image and her work, between her words and her deeds; that she, helped by others of course, engaged in a culture of deception.

On a superficial level, I need to tell the truth about Teresa because I feel humiliated to be associated with a place that is wrongly imagined to exist on Western charity. Perhaps the main reason why I want to tell this story is because, I believe, each of us has a duty to stand up and protest when history is in danger of being distorted. In a few years' time Mother Teresa will be up there, glittering in the same galaxy as Mozart and Leonardo.

I wish to convey my thanks to the some of the world's most powerful publishing firms who put up obstacle after obstacle in the path of this book. Indeed, the British arm of a multinational publishing house signed me up and then cancelled the contract nine months later by sending me a half-page fax. My resolve to get the book published grew all the more stronger by such obstacles..."

The Emergent Church - Excerpt from Let Us Reason

EMERGING INTO WHAT?

Intro comment by Chris Lawson (Spiritual Research Network website).

After spending many hours researching the Emerging Church these last couple months, we fully agree with what Mike Oppenheimer says in his articles.

It is becoming clearer and clearer that the Emerging Church is on a crash course with New Age Mysticism. In fact, the 'Fathers' of contemplative prayer (Thomas Merton and Father Thomas Keating) hijacked Eastern Mysticism and have wrapped it all up nice and neatly in Christian buzz words.

'Buyer beware!' is our assessment. Emerging Church practices such as contemplative prayer, prayer mantras, labyrinths, yoga, chanting, drum circles, icons/images, incense, etc. are not only unbiblical practices for Christians, they come from idolatrous pagan religions and are prohibited by God. Unbiblical and pagan practices pose danger to all human beings and the end result is total delusion and ultimately damnation.

For a Christian, practicing pagan worship techniques deludes ones perspective on who and what God really is. Furthermore, it damages and cauterizes ones own faith, sets a horrible example to the world, and align one with the serpent power of idolatrous religions [See also The Hazards of Kundalini Serpent Power of Yoga].

We fully agree with Mike's article below because we have researched many of the same things he has. For the uninformed, we encourage you to spend just one hour researching mysticism, labryinths, yoga, pantheism, contemplative prayer and prayer mantras, drum circles, chanting, altered states of consciousness, etc. are. Be careful not to get sucked in by the deception. Simply read your Bible and what God has to say in condeming pagan religions [Deuteronomy 13 & 18 for starters] and you will be shocked that Christian leaders are bringing this into the church. Greetings to all,We are living in the time period Jesus warned would be marked by deception (Mt.24). Yet we have fewer people paying attention or becoming aware of the schemes that are being used to change the church. Like the Hurricanes that have recently hit our country and ripped apart cities, Americas religious landscape is also being ripped up and it is happening very quickly. While everyone is looking toward a revival to counter the moral decay we are watching, the greatest infiltration of counterfeits presenting themselves as a move of God is taking place. Today there are apostles and prophets that are changing the way church is being done. Personal prophecies have replaced the teaching of the prophetic Scripture. There are certain apostolic promoters making the rounds all over the world claiming transformation is already happening (Ed Silvoso is one of them). But it is really the church that is being transformed- to be like the world. Most pastors do not know who these apostles or their ministries are, nor are they informed on the various tactics they are using to bring the church on board. The world does not judge what is right or wrong, it has no standard, it is the world that is tolerant of everything and everyone (except for those who say they have the truth and absolutes.) The Church is commanded to judge good and evil- right and wrong (Heb.5:13), to proclaim a standard-instead we have adopted the world’s view of tolerance. Because of this, we are in a chokehold, saying nothing to address an ever increasing problem that is spreading everywhere. What good is salt if it loses its flavor? Jesus said -It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men” (Matt 5:13).Many of us are kept busy in our own areas of ministry and we are often unaware of how much is unraveling. We need to get a topside view to see the bigger picture. Attacks on the Trinity are going forward in new books. Preterism is growing as the rapture is fading from peoples theology. In fact theology is made fun of, and becoming like a humdrum sunset that most do not care to see. Few are being trained in Bible history and expository preaching, even in the seminaries. Where are we headed in the coming years if Jesus tarries? I can tell you that the religious landscape will be drastically different, and it will not be for the better despite all the positive confessors and thinkers. As the Scripture stated “My people perish for the lack of knowledge.” It is having the fear of the Lord that we begin to pursue having His knowledge. The more informed we are the better we can prepare ourselves and the people so they will not fall for these strong winds of strange doctrines now blowing against the house. I want to take the time to address an issue that has been on my heart, something I’m devoting much time researching, writing and refuting. There is what is called an emergent church movement that is bringing in the new age into the church. This, in my opinion, has become the most dangerous and blatant attack on the church we have seen in recent history and it cannot be ignored. The more I and others research this growing mystical movement, the more concerned we became. Personally, I’m both perplexed and bewildered to see this taking place. Both My wife and I came out of the new age movement and were practicing practically the same type of spiritual exercises that are now inside the church. To see this taking place inside the church, to our youth is very disturbing. We now have the emergent church adopting other religious practices and introducing the youth to be “new age Christians”. Yoga, meditation, labyrinth walking, contemplative prayer, and a host of other unbiblical, other religious practices are now a stable diet for the young. Who knows how far the search for an experiential faith will take them. Men like Brian McLaren, Edwin McManus, Leonard Sweet and Even Rick Warren are connected to and promoting these changes for our good to reach a postmodern culture. Instead, it is synthesizing other religions with Christianity, blurring the distinctive.

These are 4 articles that explain what is taking place and comparing it to the new age movements agenda. (we have other written articles posted under the what's new section by pastors who have made themselves informed.)

When Was Jesus Born?

When Was Jesus Born?
KOINONIA HOUSE - from the December 13, 2005 eNews issue - Each year at Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. After the New Year, we struggle to remember to add a year as we date our checks, which should remind us that the entire Western World reckons its calendar from the birth of the One who changed the world more than any other before or since. Yet, it is disturbing to discover that much of what we have been taught about the Christmas season seems to be more tradition than truth.

Most serious Bible students realize that Jesus was probably not born on December 25th. The shepherds had their flocks in open fields, which implies a date prior to October. Furthermore, no competent Roman administrator would require registration involving travel during the season when Judea was generally impassable.

If Jesus wasn't born on December 25, just when was he born?

Tarot Readings Going Mainstream

What the Bible says about occultism:

Deuteronomy 18:9-14
When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

The nearly 3,400 year old prohibition against occultism from God himself has become mainstream in the U.S.A. and the U.K.

Tarot readings are going mainstream at spas
ASSOCIATED PRESS - BY KRISTEN WYATT - December 14, 2005 - Sure, they still give facials and hot-stone massages. But a growing number of spas are dipping their pedicured toes in the supernatural, hoping for more client loyalty in a market that's become increasingly crowded.

At Juve The Spa in Alpharetta, Ga., patrons can get a metaphysical add-on to any spa service, such as a $100 tarot card reading or a $175 one-hour astrological consultation.

For $200 an hour, you can talk to an American Indian shaman at Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif. Or try Soul Regression Therapy, a guided tour through past lives, for $90 an hour at Ruby Room in Chicago, a spa that also touts sessions on Dream Therapy and Energy Healing For Pets.
The spiritual offerings, once unheard-of at day spas outside California or New York, are catching on everywhere.

New NBC show 'Book of Daniel'?

It seems that the world will do anything to try to destroy the testimony of the Bible as God's Word. This is yet another attempt to blaspheme the name of Jesus Christ and try to turn the BIble into fairy tales.

New NBC show stars Jesus, pill-popping priest
WORLDNETDAILY - December 11, 2005
- NBC has begun promoting a new weekly show in January that centers around a troubled, pill-popping Episcopal priest played by veteran actor Aidan Quinn, who talks with a manifestation of Jesus, played by Garret Dillahunt.
"The Book of Daniel" is being touted as the riskiest new show of the year. It is also billed as the only show on television in which Jesus appears as a recurring character.

It's a drama with comedic aspects and is being kicked off Jan. 6 with back-to-back episodes. It is scheduled to air regularly Friday nights at 9 p.m. The cast also includes Ellen Burstyn and Susanna Thompson.

As NBC itself explains the show, it focuses on "an Episcopalian minister and father. He finds himself conversing with Jesus -- his mentor and friend -- who helps navigate family problems, church politics and even his nagging reliance on prescription painkillers."
Comedienne Phyllis Diller plays a member of Daniel Webster's flock.

NBC executives have been excited about "The Book of Daniel" ...

NBC Drops 'Book of Daniel' From Schedule
ASSOCIATED PRESS - January 24, 2006

- The last chapter of the controversial religious drama "The Book of Daniel" has been written at NBC. Although the network stopped short of saying the low-rated show was canceled, a spokeswoman said Tuesday it has been dropped from the schedule.

The series, which starred Aidan Quinn as an Episcopalian priest with a pill habit who holds regular conversations with Jesus, has a promiscuous son and a daughter who deals marijuana, proved better at drawing criticism than viewers.

Conservative Christian groups condemned the depiction of Jesus as blasphemous, accusing the writers of portraying Christ as tolerant of sin in talks with the priest. Seven NBC affiliates refused to air it.

"The Book of Daniel" drew an audience of 6.9 million on its first night. By its fourth airing, the number had dipped to 5.8 million viewers.

NBC's move was lauded by the Tupelo, Miss.-based American Family Association, which had condemned the show as a sign of what it called the broadcaster's "anti-Christian bigotry."
The group, along with James Dobson's Focus on the Family, asked supporters to lobby their local NBC affiliates to refuse to carry it. In an article posted on its Web site, the AFA credited viewer complaints for forcing the network's hand.

"This shows the average American that he doesn't have to simply sit back and take the trash being offered on TV, but he can get involved and fight back with his pocketbook," "AFA founder and chairman Donald E. Wildmon said in the posting.

The network had no comment on the statement.
The show's creator and executive producer, Jack Kenny, has said his goal was to depict how "humor and grace" help a flawed man struggle with his faith and family. He said the writers never meant to mock religion or Jesus.

Nonbelievers Too Can Be Saved, Says Pope

Mystery Babylon

"Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 )
-----

Nonbelievers Too Can Be Saved, Says Pope
ZENIT - November 30, 2005 - Whoever seeks peace and the good of the community with a pure conscience, and keeps alive the desire for the transcendent, will be saved even if he lacks biblical faith, says Benedict XVI.

The Pope made this affirmation today at the general audience, commenting on a meditation written by St. Augustine (354-430).

On a rainy morning in Rome, the Holy Father's meditation, addressed to more than 23,000 people gathered in St. Peter's Square, concentrated on the suffering of the Jewish people in the Babylonian exile, expressed dramatically in Psalm 136(137).

The Pontiff referred to Augustine's commentary on this composition of the Jewish people, noting that this "Father of the Church introduces a surprising element of great timeliness."

Augustine "knows that also among the inhabitants of Babylon there are people who are committed to peace and the good of the community, despite the fact that they do not share the biblical faith, that they do not know the hope of the Eternal City to which we aspire," Benedict XVI stated.

"They have a spark of desire for the unknown, for the greatest, for the transcendent, for a genuine redemption," explained the Pope, quoting Augustine. This spark "And he says that among the persecutors, among the nonbelievers, there are people with this spark, with a kind of faith, of hope, in the measure that is possible for them in the circumstances in which they live," the Holy Father continued. "With this faith in an unknown reality, they are really on the way to the authentic Jerusalem, to Christ," he clarified.

Continuing with his quotes from Augustine, the Pope added that "God will not allow them to perish with Babylon, having predestined them to be citizens of Jerusalem, on the condition, however, that, living in Babylon, they do not seek pride, outdated pomp and arrogance."

The Bishop of Rome concluded by inviting those present to pray to the Lord "that he will awaken in all of us this desire, this openness to God, and that those who do not know God may also be touched by his love, so that all of us journey together toward the definitive City and that the light of this City might also shine in our time and in our world." http://www.zenit.org/english/visualizza.phtml?sid=80888
