Rev. Sun Myung Moon: Emperor of the Universe

Moon: Emperor of the Universe

BBC feature on Rev. Sun Myung Moon
(Keep in mind as you watch this that many people who are "clairvoyant" [a form of spiritism]claim to have encounters with and speak directly with "Jesus," Buddha, Mohammed, and Confucious...).
Note:
Clairvoyance is not only a form of occult spirit contact, it is extremely dangerous. Clairvoyance, like other forms of spiritism, can lead to insanity, suicidal thoughts, psychoses, irreversable brain damage, undiagnosable diseases, full blown occult indoctrination, sexual perversion, hauntings, mental disorders, demon possession, etc.
There is a vast amount of literature written on the subject of clairvoyance and the hazzards that go along with it. Very clearly, clairvoyance and other types of spirit contact are nothing less than trafficking with demons.
Do you think Rev. Sun Myung Moon: [is the] Emperor of the Universe ???
Watch Moon: Emperor of the Universe, and see for yourself what the Rev. Sun Myung Moon believes about himself. As you do, remember the words of Jesus Christ who spoke nearly 2000 years ago and said,
"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ [Messiah]; and shall deceive many" (Matthew 24:4-5).

Knock, knock, who's there? No Jehovah's Witnesses or double-glazing salesmen

Knock, knock, who's there? No Jehovah's Witnesses or double-glazing salesmen

FRANK URQUHART, The Scotsman, June 22, 2006

DOOR-to-door salesmen and Jehovah's Witnesses have been hit with a council ban in the first initiative of its kind in Scotland to protect residents from unwelcome cold callers.

Angus Council has joined forces with Tayside Police and Neighbourhood Watch to set up six "no cold-calling zones" throughout the area, with plans for more than 100 eventually.

Doorstep cold-calling is often used as a smokescreen by criminals to prey on vulnerable households, particularly the elderly.

Pilot schemes, where signs and window stickers warned off would-be door-to-door sellers, significantly reduced general crime figures in the area, according to council research.

It is very interesting what is going on indeed! Have you all read your Bibles lately?

Russia wants delay on U.N. vote on Iran sanctions
By Evelyn Leopold and Irwin Arieff

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - A U.N. resolution imposing sanctions on Iran for its nuclear ambitions ran into trouble on Thursday, with Russia calling for a one-day delay on the vote, although the United States remained optimistic.

Britain, France and Germany, which together drafted the Security Council resolution, had called a vote for Friday morning and conducted last minute talks with the United States, Russia and China on Thursday afternoon.
"I do not think there is going to be a vote tomorrow (Friday)," Moscow's U.N. ambassador, Vitaly Churkin, told reporters in a recess during the talks among the six nations...

Iran Asks UN to Make Israel Give Up Nuclear Arms

Iran Asks UN to Make Israel Give Up Nuclear Arms
By Irwin Arieff

UNITED NATIONS, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Iran, whose president said last week that Israel's days were numbered, called on the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday to compel the Jewish state to give up its nuclear weapons.

Iranian U.N. Ambassador Javad Zarif wrote to the 15-nation U.N. Body after Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, in a German TV interview, implied for the first time that his country had nuclear weapons.

Israel had never before acknowledged having atomic bombs and, unlike Iran, is not a member of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, known as the NPT...

...Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, referring to Israel at an international conference questioning the Holocaust last week in Tehran, told delegates that "the trend for the existence of the Zionist regime is downwards and this is what God has promised and what all nations want."

"Just as the Soviet Union was wiped out and today does not exist, so will the Zionist regime soon be wiped out," he said.

Greetings once again!

Amidst working through more emails, we have received some very encouraging letters and also some very sad ones too. Periodically people will share their own stories about how their churches are embracing contemplative spirituallity, New Age mystical techniques, yoga, etc.

People also share about how their church leadership frowns upon them as they ask why the church is not teaching the Bible, but instead Rick Warren's book.

We have recently posted more articles regarding these dangers of these things at our SRN Blog and our Contemplative Emerging Church deception Blog.

These two articles below help to shed a bit of light on what Bible believers are up against nowadays!

I have also received correspondence from Christian who have gotten into alternative therapies, new age healing, and Kundalini [yoga] arousal, contemplative meditation, etc. Although these people are Christians, their lives have been dramatically affected by occult influences. This ought not to be.

Sadly, many leaders in churches nowadays are "doing church" by integrating Gnostic mysticism and ancient rituals into church services. These include but are not limited to utilizing mantras, praying with crystals, centering prayer, visiaulizing Jesus [which one?], incense, candles, venerating images and icons, walking labyrinths, etc.

A simple reading of Jeremaih chapter 7 and 8 reveals what our Holy God thinks about mixing pagan religious practices with the worship of the One true God - Jehovah - Jesus Christ!

Beware friends, New Age Gnosticicm and Ancient Mysticism re-labeled for Christians is not of the God of Holy Scripture! We understand that post-modern leaders want to reach out to poeple, but this is Christian chicanery - artful subterfuge, Trojan Horsism, masquerading as "true worship".

WARNING: Dan Kimball - A Christian Witch Agrees With Him

WARNING: Dan Kimball - A Christian Witch Agrees With Him

This article or excerpt is from Lighthouse Trails.
http://www.fromthelighthouse.com/blog/index.php?p=436&more=1&c=1

Yesterday, we addressed Rick Warren's e-newsletter, which had an article by emerging church leader Dan Kimball. Below is an article just sent to us that shows how a "Christian" witch is describing the same spirituality that Kimball describes in his article. The article below links to a website that should not be read by children because of its occultic nature. However, we believe parents need to read this to better understand the true nature of contemplative and emerging spiritualities that have entered the church and will most likely affect your family at some point. While tens of thousands of teenagers will be at Sunday School this morning, we fear that many will be receiving a hearty dose of New Age/occultic spirituality, under the guise of Christian terminology:

Rick Warren Comes Out of the Closet
by Jocelyn Andersen

Included in Rick Warren's Ministry Tool Box (an email pastor's resource sent to multiplied thousands of ministers each week) is an article by Dan Kimball, pastor of Vintage Faith Church, which contains a basic outline for beginning practitioners of Christian Witchery.

Of course Dan doesn't exactly call it by that name. However, Miss Rawna Moon, Christian Witch and Web Mistress has no problem at all with calling a spade a spade. And point for point she is in agreement with Kimball on the essential steps to successfully practicing Christian Witchery.

Sacred Space
Dan instructs his readers to attend to "the notion of sacred space."

Isn't it interesting that Miss Rawna Moon does the same thing when she instructs beginners in Christian Witchery that the first thing they need to do is get a sacred space and, "Always keep before you that what you are doing here is not using the sacred space as a thing, but relating to it as fellow creatures of the Creating One and so your brothers and sisters. Try to let this place be a place where you let go of the modernistic idea of humanity above and separate from nature. Instead realize that you are part of this place and you are not above it or more important than it. Begin to learn how to listen to it as your teacher." ...

How to Know When the Emerging Church Shows Signs of Emerging in Your Church

How to Know When the Emerging Church Shows Signs of Emerging in Your Church
by Roger Oakland

The world is changing. So is the Christian evangelical church. There was a time— not that long ago—when the Bible was considered to be the Word of God by the majority of evangelical Christians. Now that we are well into the third millennium and the post-modern, post-Christian era, the term evangelical can mean almost anything. What has happened? Why is this happening and what is the future for mainstream Christianity?

For the past several years, I have been speaking around the world on current trends that are impacting Christianity. After these presentations, I am approached by Christians who come from many different church backgrounds. Many are expressing their concerns about what is happening in their churches, troubled by the new direction they see their church going. While they may not always be able to discern what is wrong, they know something is wrong and that it needs to be addressed.

Further, many have told me they have attempted to express their concerns with their pastors or church elders. In almost every case, they were told they had a choice to make—get with the new program or get out of the church.

This move towards a reinvented Christianity (one designed to “reach people”) seems to be here for the long haul. It is not just a passing fad. I am often asked by concerned brothers and sisters in Christ to provide an explanation in order to help them understand what they have encountered. They want to know why these changes are underway and what to expect in the future. As well, they want to know what, if anything can be done, to stem this tide. It is for this reason I am writing this commentary—to provide biblical insight regarding the Emerging Church and where it is heading in the future.

The Emergence Of The Eucharist In The Emerging Church

The Emergence Of The Eucharist In The Emerging Church
by Roger Oakland

One of the common beliefs circulating amongst the supporters of the Emergent Church is a concept called “Vintage Christianity”. According to this view, experiences effective in attracting Christians to come to church in the past should be reintroduced today in order to attract the postmodern generation who are hungry for experience.

Dan Kimball, author of the book The Emerging Church: Vintage Christianity for New Generation is one of the key proponents of this idea. He firmly believes that worship must play an important role to attract post-moderns into Christianity. In a section of his book subtitled “Truly worshipping in a worship gathering,” he writes:

We should be returning to a no-holds-barred approach to worship and teaching so that when we gather, there is no doubt we are in the presence of God. I believe that both believers and unbelievers in our emerging culture are hungry for this. It isn’t about clever apologetics or careful exegetical and expository preaching or great worship bands. … Emerging generations are hungry to experience God in worship. [1]...

Queen of Peace - Queen of All

Queen of Peace
by Roger Oakland

A number of articles are beginning to appear on the Internet suggesting that the current Islamic-Pope Benedict controversy may soon be resolved by a coming peace plan that will be initiated by the Roman Catholic Mary – the Queen of Peace. This plan would be mutually agreeable to Rome and Islam.

For example, you can read the following two articles:

Earlier this year, Eternal Productions published a book titled Queen of All: The Marian Apparitions plan to unite all religions Under the Roman Catholic Church by Tetlow, Oakland and Myers...

The New Evangelization and The Coming Eucharistic Reign of Jesus

The New Evangelization and The Coming Eucharistic Reign of Jesus
by Roger Oakland

The Roman Catholic Church’s belief that the “presence” of Jesus Christ becomes manifest by the mystical process of transubstantiation during Mass has been foundational to their faith for centuries. [1] According to the Roman Catholic Church, a Roman Catholic priest supposedly has the authority and the power to conjure up the presence of the Creator of the universe from a wafer. In order to be a Roman Catholic, the church requires members to accept this belief and be obedient to it. There are no exceptions. [2]

While it is true that during the Reformation and Counter Reformation, many who refused to believe in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist died or were tortured for their disbelief, time has a way of allowing the facts of history to be forgotten. [3] It is also a fact there are even practicing Roman Catholics today who do not abide by the Church’s proclaimed standard that they must believe the consecrated wafer is God and not just a symbol of remembrance. [4]

This, of course, was one of the major reasons for the “New Evangelization” program implemented by Pope John Paul II during his time of leadership. In April of 2003, the pope wrote an encyclical promoting the “New Evangelization” program for the purpose of “rekindling amazement” focussing on the presence of Christ in the Eucharist. [5] From that point on, I have been following the Roman Catholic agenda to win the world to the Roman Catholic Jesus.

The Emerging Church: Another Road to Rome

The Emerging Church: Another Road to Rome
by Roger Oakland

The Emerging Church controversy continues to explode. Perhaps the best way to describe the Emerging Church phenomenon is to compare it to an avalanche. Every day more and more information is being made available regarding what the Emerging Church is and where it may be headed.

The Emerging Church
It is not my purpose in writing this commentary to define every aspect of the Emerging Church. In fact it would require several volumes to do so. Even then, some would say that the Emerging Church was not defined properly.

The common denominator being promoted is the idea that the time has come for Christianity to be reinvented for our generation. In order to do so, the church must provide the environment and the experiences to attract people. Christianity, the Emerging Church promoters say, must become relevant to our postmodern generation. No longer does reason or God’s Word hold the answers to life’s questions. Experience must become the key factor to encounter spiritual reality.

Pope's Historic Turkey Visit Worth Billions of Dollars

Pope's Historic Turkey Visit Worth Billions of Dollars
ZAMAN [Turkey] - By Cihan News Agency - December 4, 2006 -- The historic visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Turkey is worth billions of dollars according to tourism pundits.

Almost every instant of the momentous visit, the pontiff's first-ever visit to a Muslim country, were broadcast live worldwide. This is interpreted as a serious yet inexpensive contribution to the promotion of Turkey.

The messages of peace and reconciliation between Islam and Christianity the pope gave in particular during the visit as well as those regarding the Catholic and Orthodox churches raise expectations for the tourism sector in the coming period.

Authorities from the sector say that the papal visit was an invaluable opportunity offered to Turkey.

Tourist spots in Turkey such as the Blue Mosque, where Benedict XVI unexpectedly turned to Mecca in a gesture, the Hagia Sophia and the House of Virgin Mary near Ephesus where the pontiff visited are expected to attract huge interest from the Western and Christian world.

Pope Hailed for Praying Toward Mecca Like Muslims

Pope hailed for praying toward Mecca like Muslims

REUTERS - By Philip Pullella and Tom Heneghan - December 1, 2006 -- ISTANBUL -- Pope Benedict wound up a fence-mending visit to Turkey on Friday amid praise from the local press for visiting Istanbul's Blue Mosque and praying toward Mecca "like Muslims".

The Pope, who sparked protests across the Muslim world with a speech two months ago seen as criticizing Islam, looked relaxed and pleased as he entered the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit for a mass at the end of the sensitive four-day trip.

His first visit to a mostly Muslim country, held under tight security for fear of protests by nationalists and Islamists, was highlighted by a series of conciliatory gestures culminating in a stop on Thursday afternoon in Istanbul's famed Blue Mosque.

"The Pope's dreaded visit was concluded with a wonderful surprise," wrote daily Aksam on its front page.

"In Sultan Ahmet Mosque, he turned toward Mecca and prayed like Muslims," popular daily Hurriyet said, using the building's official name.

His gestures, including support for Ankara's bid to join the European Union and praise for Islam as a peaceful faith, seem to have persuaded the Turks to move beyond the tension following his speech quoting a Byzantine emperor as calling Islam violent.

But in Islam's Middle Eastern heartland, Arab commentators still call for Benedict to issue a full apology for his speech. Shocked by the protests it triggered, the Pope has said he did not agree with the controversial quote but has not apologized.

Catholic officials also presented the mosque visit, where Benedict stood in silent prayer while Istanbul Grand Mufti Mustafa Cagrici prayed aloud, as a key moment of reconciliation.
